Plogue has released a free update to Chipspeech, its retro vocal synth plugin for Mac & Windows.

The update adds two new vocal synthesizer options:

• CiderTalk’84 (MacinTalk 1.x), as heard in the famous mac introduction in 1984.
• Rotten.ST from Atari ST’s STSPEECH.TOS, a staple of early techno (eg: U96’s Das Boot)

The release also adds a Talker mode across the roster. Each voice can now be used as “normal text to speech”, or talkers.
